MORRISVILLE – Jakob was featured in the December 4 issue. A handsome dog, he was recently adopted over the holidays. Although still at puppy age, it took Jakob a month to be adopted, unlike some of the other dogs featured.
One reason for this is that many people don’t want an energetic dog in their home. He was described as being a year old and filled with energy. Another reason a dog may take longer to be adopted is that, when there are other dogs in the shelter he may be overlooked because visitors only gained a minor portrayal of him. NCAL has a unique feature where visitors can interact with a dog and see more of their true personality outside the kennel they occupy.
Plan a visit to see one of NCAL’s pets like Jakob by going to NCAL.com and filling out a registration form, then visiting NCAL at 16 Mountain View Meadows Road, off Vt. Route 100, south of Morristown to visit your future furry friend. You can also reach NCAL at (802) 888-5065.
