CABOT – The Village 12th Night Celebration will be held Friday, Jan. 2 and Saturday, Jan. 3. The festival features performing arts and activities for all ages. Twelve events are featured in four venues throughout Cabot Village including concerts, dance, storytelling, theater, arts and crafts workshops, games bonfires and outdoor activities, including a sunset parade.

Venues in Cabot Village, include the Willey Building (town hall) auditorium, the Cabot United Church, and Harry’s Hardware. Outdoor activities will take place on the Cabot Village Common and on the Cabot Trails system.

Festival highlights include Modern Times Theater; Tom Azarian with a crankie show, music and storytelling; scavenger hunt on the Cabot Trails; Sandglass Theater with award-winning puppets; Hears Crow, Native American storyteller; Keith Murphy and Becky Tracy with French, Celtic and Cape Breton traditional music.

Other highlights include arts and crafts workshops for children with paper lanterns and Newfoundland Ugly Sticks; Cabot Community Theater presenting the annual and topical Mummer’s Play; The Midnight Capers Morris Dance team; Fifth Business presenting afternoon Wassail and early evening concert; Sunset Lantern Parade on Cabot Village Common; community dinner at Neighbors in Action; and The Returnables, a Rock, blues, country, at The Den at Harry’s Hardware.
