CABOT – On the morning of February 4, Cabot Fire Department responded to its second motor vehicle accident within the last 12-hours. The late night call was mutual aid to Marshfield, with cancellation en route.
This call was the third collision with the guardrail near the Winooski River bridge on VT-215 S since the New Year. Each collision has involved one of the trifecta of risk factors, either excessive speed for the conditions, inattention or summer tires with insufficient tread.
No one was injured.
Cabot Emergency Ambulance Service responded and assessed the occupants. Walden Fire Department also responded to provide mutual aid.
