HARDWICK – On May 20 at approximately 1:56 p.m., Hardwick Police were dispatched to a two-car accident in front of 39 North Main St. Upon arrival it was determined that a 2015 Ram 1500 operated by Ty Metevier had a mechanical problem and the steering wheel locked up. This caused the vehicle to pull to the right, hitting a parked vehicle. A 2022 Subaru Crosstrek owned by Caitlin Deluca was parked alongside the road and was unoccupied at the time of the crash. The Subaru sustained damage to the driver’s side door and fender. There was minor damage to the truck’s front bumper. There were no injuries reported in the crash.
On May 29, at approximately 9:56 p.m., Hardwick Police were on patrol when notified of a male being loud and refusing to leave a residence. Upon arrival, Hardwick Police found Justin Perry to be the individual who refused to leave. Perry was taken into custody without incident and transported to Northeast Correctional Complex where he was lodged on the warrant.
