GREENSBORO – A benefit event for Child Haven International will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., July 10, at the Highland Center for the Arts.
The evening features the U.S. premiere of “Lotus,” a short film by local filmmaker Avani Pisapati. A second short film will offer a glimpse into Child Haven’s broader mission.
An exhibit of Tibetan Buddhist thangka paintings will be available for viewing and purchase and a bazaar will offer handcrafted goods, clothing, statues and cultural items sourced from communities surrounding Child Haven’s homes.
An Indian dinner prepared by the Highland Arts Center chefs will be available with advance ticket purchase. Dinner tickets will be available soon at highlandartsvt.org and information is available at childhaven.ca, or call (802) 533-2296.
