CEDS draft open for public comment

NORTHERN VERMONT – The Northern Vermont Economic Development District (NVEDD), has released the Draft 2026–2031 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for public review and comment. The CEDS is a five-year regional road map that guides economic development investments and priorities across Northern Vermont, including economic resilience, business growth, infrastructure, workforce development, quality of life, and disaster preparedness.

Community members, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to review the draft and provide feedback during the 30-day public comment period. View the draft at: https://nvedd.org/resources-data/

The Northern Vermont Economic Development District is a federally-designated Economic Development District serving Grand Isle, Franklin, Lamoille, Orleans, Caledonia, and Essex counties, is a partnership of Northern Vermont’s Regional Planning Commissions, Economic Development Corporations, municipalities, and community development agencies and is supported in part by the

U.S. Economic Development Administration.
