Wild Cello Concert July 2

Share article

EAST HARDWICK – Rushad Eggleston will perform at the Caledonia No. 9 Grange Hall on Sunday, July 2, at 7:30 p.m. He is the second performer of Civic Standard’s “Take a Chance Series.”

Civic Standard considers the performance “seriously outrageous and wonderful.” The event is pay-what-you-want and the Civic will have refreshments for sale.
Rushad Eggleston is a master of improvisation, a prolific composer, and has done things that nobody has done with the cello. His stature ranks with great individualists such as Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, Harry Partch, Robin Williams, and Dr Seuss.
Civic Standard’s “Take a Chance Series” aims to bring renowned touring performers to the area for hand-picked shows that are intimate, entertaining and affordable.

The Grange Hall is located on East Church Street.
