Mystery Dinner Theater Sept. 21-23

Share article

HARDWICK – A mystery dinner theater production, “Developed to Death!,” will be presented September 21, 22 and 23, at 6 p.m. each day with a matinee Saturday at 1 p.m., at the American Legion Post No. 7 by the Civic Standard.

The plot of the mystery to be solved begins with a zoning meeting concerning a proposed multi-use development on Bridgman Hill. At the meeting, there just might be a murder, and (during a three course meal) and the mystery of whodunit will certainly need to be solved. This event features a cast of 20 local actors, and was written collaboratively with a crew of Vermonters. The murder mystery takes place in Hardwick, was written in Hardwick, features several prominent Hardwickians playing themselves, and guarantees at least five local inside jokes.

Tickets are available at the Civic Standard, 42 S. Main St. The price of admission is $30 and includes a three course meal, an evening of drama and comedy and, of course, the opportunity to help solve a crime. More information is available at thecivicstandard.org
