Author Lew-Smith leads book discussion, Feb. 5

HARDWICK – Jodi Lew-Smith, author of the new book, “Asa James,” will lead a discussion of the book at the Jeudevine Memorial Library, on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 6:30 p.m. Lew-Smith is a biologist and scientific curator who reads primary literature for the Candida Genome Database and lives on a farm in the Northeast Kingdom with her family, their apple trees, and their animals. This event is free and open to the public in the Parker Ladd Community Room at the Jeudevine, 93 N. Main Street. For information, call (802) 472-5948.
