HARDWICK – Jodi Lew-Smith, author of the new book, “Asa James,” will lead a discussion of the book at the Jeudevine Memorial Library, on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 6:30 p.m. Lew-Smith is a biologist and scientific curator who reads primary literature for the Candida Genome Database and lives on a farm in the Northeast Kingdom with her family, their apple trees, and their animals.
