MONTPELIER – Montpelier Contra Dance will feature Nils Fredland calling to music by Rose Jackson, Oliver Scanlon, Sam Zakon-Anderson and Max Newman on Saturday, Jan. 21. All are welcome. Newcomers lesson begins at 7:40 p.m., with dance from 8 to 11 p.m,, at the Capital City Grange located on Northfield Street, Vermont Rte. 12, just south of the I-89 overpass. Gender-neutral role terms are used and all dances are taught. Bring a pair of clean soft-soled shoes and a mask, surgical mask, N95 or KN95 required. Don’t come if any symptoms.
