ANNETTE FOSTER

Annette Foster

WALDEN – Annette Foster passed gently surrounded by loved ones in her home on June 3. She was born on June 25, 1956, to Leon and Madeleine Bellavance of Walden. She married Nathan Foster on August 18, 1979, creating their home in Walden. They have three children, Danielle, Jeremy, and Michelle and five grandchildren, Natalie, Hailey, Madeleine, Vanessa, and Leon.
She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, home, family, friends, and community. Annette loved to knit and crochet keepsakes for her loved ones, to tend her flower gardens, and to travel and camp with family and friends. She loved spending time in nature, finding contentment and joy in its beauty.
Annette stayed connected to her local community by holding various positions, often volunteering her time. She was treasurer for Coles Pond Sledders for 25 years and Justice of the Peace for many years, finding fulfillment in community connection through service.
She is survived by family and friends too numerous to count. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother Andre and her in-laws Francis and Virginia Foster.

May we all honor her by nurturing in our own lives all that she valued: family, friends, service, and nature.

Visiting hours will be held at the des Groseilliers Funeral Home, 97 Church Street in Hardwick on Friday, June 9, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A celebration of Annette’s life will be held at a later date. Convey memories and condolences to the family at dgfunerals.com.
