WENDELL FORREST WINCHESTER

BRADENTON, Fla. – Wendell Forrest Winchester, 86, of Bradenton, passed away on July 16. He was born in Stannard, Vt., on August 23, 1936, to Forrest Winchester and S. Beryl Stewart Winchester. He graduated from Greensboro High School in 1955 and then attended St. Johnsbury Trade School, graduating in 1957 with a Master Electrician’s license.
Wendell worked as an appliance repairman for Sears & Roebuck for 33 years.
In 1970, he moved to Monroe, N.H., where he was a member of the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department and the Monroe Men’s Club.
He was predeceased by his parents Forrest and S. Beryl Winchester, his brother Gordon Winchester, his wife Drucilla Perry and his son Todd.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna, a daughter Ellen (Frank) Indelicato and sons Wade (Nok) Winchester, Jason (Kelsey) Winchester and Andrew (Cissy Miegs) Winchester. There are also nine grandchildren, Christopher, Alex, Meagan, Steven, Brendan, Bethani, Cheyenne, Lila and Lucas and one great-grandchild, Aliya.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 18, at 11 a.m., at the Stannard Cemetery in Stannard, Vt. Arrangements are with des Groseilliers Funeral Home. Condolences and memories of Wendell may be conveyed to the family at dgfunerals.com.
