Author to Share New Runaway Pond Picture Book

GLOVER – Author Nancy Price Graff will share her new picture book “Runaway Pond,” illustrated by Bagram Ibatoulline, a delightful retelling of Glover’s most famous legend on Thursday, No. 2, beginning at 5 p.m., at the Glover Public Library. Children and adults can enjoy a storytime by the author and then engage with members of the historical society to discuss the real and imagined pieces of the story of Runaway Pond. The library will receive a portion of the evening’s book sales. The Glover Public Library, Glover Historical Society, and The Galaxy Bookshop are sponsoring the event.

Nancy Price Graff is the author of seven previous books for children and adults, including “In the Hush of the Evening” and “Taking Wing,” and her work has been nominated for the Golden Dome Book Award (formerly the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Children’s Book Award). A graduate of Middlebury College, Nancy Price Graff lives in Montpelier.
