HARDWICK – Tobin Porter threw a party Saturday, July 20, to celebrate the five-year anniversary of founding his business on July 20, 2019.

The gathering revealed the “Other Side,” an expansion of the business into the building’s neighboring space.
Musical performances were by Larry Martin and “Glorious Leader” as attendees were offered a variety of snacks. A slideshow ran to show photos of all that happened over the last five years.
Porter had been open less than a year when the Covid-19 pandemic made gatherings difficult. He pivoted to take-out, took advantage of pandemic funds to offer at various times free breakfast sandwiches, empanadas at lunch and dinner meals to go. Porter weathered the pandemic and gathered a following who say they feel comfortable visiting, working and relaxing. Front Seat Coffee offers a variety of seating options, with or without tables.
Tobin said he was pleased with the turnout and took time to enjoy the performances when he wasn’t receiving congratulations from appreciative guests.
