On July 8, at approximately 1830 hours, Deputy Jeremy Cotnoir was on patrol in the town of Albany when he observed a vehicle traveling north along Vt. Rte. 14 by the Albany Elementary School at a high rate of speed. Deputy Cotnoir locked the target vehicle in at 65 mph while inside of a 35 mph speed zone. Shortly after Deputy Cotnoir conducted a motor vehicle stop for the speeding violation. The operator was identified as Patricia Foster, of Hardwick. Foster was issued a citation to appear in court for the above charge.
