On August 3, at approximately 11:03 p.m., the Greensboro Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at a multi-family residence on Main Street in Greensboro. Fire crews from several area departments worked to extinguish the fire. All occupants were able to exit the residence safely and no injuries were reported.

As part of Fire Chief David Brochu’s assessment of the scene, he contacted the Department of Public Safety Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit and requested assistance in determining the origin and cause of the fire event.
