On September 30 at 2244 hours, Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Bayne Comolli Rd. in Calais. An investigation revealed Iris Rollins-Greene, of Barre, was traveling in excess of the posted speed limit when she drove into the oncoming lane and struck Thelonious Shores’ vehicle head on. Shores is from Calais. While speaking with Rollins-Greene she exhibited indicators of impairment. She was subsequently screened and taken into custody for DUI and Negligent Operation. Rollins-Greene was transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing before being released on a citation. She has a court date of October 20 at 0830 hours in Washington County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
