On February 28, at 7:12 p.m., the Hardwick Police Department responded to a call at the Hardwick House of Pizza regarding a larceny that just occurred. Beth Keough, of Barre, was identified by video surveillance and was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia Superior Court on April 24 at 8:30 a.m.
On March 17, at approximately 10 p.m., Lori Arczynski was traveling northward on Vt. Rte. 15 in Hardwick. She became distracted, hit a mail box on her right side of the road, went down and alongside a steep embankment and struck several small trees before coming to a stop. The 2008 Subaru Outback received much front end damage. The operator was uninjured.
On March 18, Hardwick Police responded to a welfare check at 36 Maple St. After making sure the individual was safe, Hardwick Police received a report from the individual who requested the welfare check stating that Julian Hamilton had been threatening them over the phone for calling the police. Hamilton was staying with the individual who police did a welfare check on. Hamilton was charged with Disorderly Conduct by Electronic Device and issued a criminal citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Caledonia Criminal Division, on April 10 at 8:30 a.m.
On April 2, Hardwick Police conducted a traffic stop on Elm Street with a black Acura operated by Alain Fradette, of Hardwick. Fradette’s driver’s license was suspended and by court order was required to have an interlock device installed in his vehicle. Fradette did not have an interlocked device installed. Fradette was issued a citation to appear to the Vermont Superior Court, Caledonia Criminal Division, on April 24 at 8:30 a.m.
On Saturday, April 8, at approximately 9:08 p.m., a female reported a domestic assault at a residence on Rte. 15 W in the town of Hardwick. Randy West, of Hardwick, was subsequently arrested for domestic assault. Conditions of release were set on West and he was released on a citation to appear in Caledonia Superior Court, Criminal Division on April 10.
