Hardwick Police Report

On May 31, the Hardwick Police Department conducted a routine motor vehicle stop on a black Acura MDX. Passenger Alain Fradette, of Hardwick, had an In-State Warrant for failing to appear in Lamoille Superior Court. He was arrested without incident and transported to Northeast Correctional Complex for lodging. Bail was $100.

On June 1, Officer Force of the Hardwick Police Department attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on a black Chevrolet Nova. The vehicle failed to pull over for a marked law enforcement cruiser with emergency lights and siren activated. The vehicle’s operator was later identified as Kyle Neill, of Woodbury, when the vehicle stopped at the residence of 389 Mackville Road. Neill was arrested for eluding a law enforcement officer, operating with a criminally suspended license, and DUI. He was released on a citation to appear in Caledonia Superior Court on June 12, at 8:30 a.m., for the charge of DUI and a citation to appearing Caledonia Superior Court on July 24, at 8:30 a.m., for the charges of Criminal DLS and Eluding.

On May 1, at approximately 2:57 p.m., Jean Demag, or Greensboro, called to report her vehicle, a 2018 Subaru Forester, was hit in the Tops parking lot causing damage. Demag advised that the driver’s side bumper and tail light were struck. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Hardwick Police Department.

On December 22, 2022, Annabelle Jarvis, of Troy, received a computer as a loaner from the Jeudevine Library. The signed agreement stated that she would return it in two weeks which she did not. She wouldn’t communicate with the library and then moved from the area. Police were contacted and located Jarvis and with assistance from VSP Derby, she was cited for theft of rental property.

On June 4 at 9:45 a.m., Police received a call from Lamoille Dispatch of a female that had been assaulted by Tyler Clark, of Hardwick and that she was on her way to the station. Mr. Clark arrived at the station first and threatened to strangle the female and threatened to assault Officer Gagnon. Officer Gagnon detained Clark on pending investigation for domestic assault. Officer Gagnon obtained statements from the female and subsequently charged Clark with Domestic Assault, Criminal Threatening and Driving with a Criminally Suspended License.
