On June 14, at 5:17 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on I-89 South near Exit 5. Investigation revealed Teri Lloyd, of Marshfield, was operating a Kia Sorento in the right land and was trying to pull into the nearby emergency U-turn. Lloyd crossed the left lane in front of a Ford Escape, operated by Anita Salvas, of Roxbury. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage. Both Lloyd and Salvas had minor non-life threatening injuries and were transported to the Central Vermont Medical Center. Lloyd was issued a ticket for failing to maintain her proper lane of travel.

On June 15, at 7:16 p.m., Vermont State Police was notified of a single-vehicle crash on I-89 south bound near the rest area in Waterbury. Troopers responded to the scene and located a blue Mazda in the breakdown lane. The operator was identified as Ange Greene, of Cabot. A DMV records check indicated Greene’s Vermont Driver’s license was criminally suspended. Greene attempted to deflect the investigation saying she was a passenger in the vehicle and another party had been driving. Subsequent investigation discovered Greene was in fact the operator. Greene was taken into custody and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing. She was later released on a criminal citation.
