On December 5, at approximately 11:31 p.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police Williston Barracks responded to a residence on North Road in Eden to attempt to locate Nathanael Bagley, of Hardwick. Troopers had reason to believe that Bagley may have been staying at a residence and confirmed that he had four active instate arrest warrants. The warrants were from failure to appear stemming from several misdemeanor and felony charges to include: Unlawful Restraint, Unlawful Trespass of an Occupied Dwelling, Stalking – Aggravated with Deadly Weapon, Domestic Assault, Violation of Probation, Violation of Conditions of Release (x4).

Bagley was located inside a residence and arrested without incident. Bagley was then transported to the Northeast Correction Complex for lack of a combined $4,200 bail. Bagley will be scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

On December 5, at 5:19 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a domestic altercation in Cabot. Prior to the arrival of troopers, the suspect, George Grant of Cabot, fled the scene. Subsequent investigation indicated that Grant had assaulted a family member by striking her and pouring turpentine on her. On December 6, Troopers located Grant and arrested him in Cabot. He was subsequently lodged at the Northeast Correctional Facility. He had a court date on December 7.

On November 13, investigation revealed Francis Huard, of Craftsbury, violated his conditions of release by contacting a victim which he had conditions not to contact. Upon law enforcement attempting to cite Huard into court, it was found he was actively violation his court ordered conditions of release. Huard was taken into custody without incident, processed at the Derby Barracks and released with a citation to appear in court on December 12, at 8:20 a.m.
